Did he say that America had 2/3 of the world's gold?
If you could, would you want to go back to 1950's clothing styles?
Yes because it is adorable.
it only takes like 42 hours to cross america by car now. LA to NY
Oops that was supposed to be its own comment
I would because then I could say "Get'im boss" and wear a fedora
For women, no. They all wore the same thing for the same events, basically. Your shoes had to match your purse/clutch and your dress. Too many feathers, patters and fabric in general too. No thank you. The reason they dressed so big and immaculate was because after WWII, they had tons of fabric to use and tons of money after the war too.
I would rather do the 20's
15 times more income than that of Europe....wow
How did Americans pass goods to other parts of the country?

Would you drive on roads that weren't paved for 64 days?
It'd be one heck of a road trip.
Probably if the destination meant a lot to me, and I wanted to move there.
So the roadways weren't working because they were hard to traverse?
What do you think people thought when they saw the first steam boat?
I would imagine people would be marveled at such an invention.
It's crazy to think that the canal is the reason for expansion in NY
Do you think we're going to come up with new means of transportation or are roads the end of the road?
Maybe sometime in the future, I doubt roads are the end of transportation.
Why would you want to get rid of cars?
I think if anything we'd be flying but for the most part no, i dont
Maybe one day everyone will have tiny teleporting devices or solar powered mini-planes so everything will be airway travel
The sky is the limit. I'm sure, despite our ability to fly in an actual aircraft, that they will make some sort of personal vehicle that could fly as well as work on roads. It's completely possible.
Bullet trains, Hoverboards, Flying cars, personal planes
How did the Rail Road companies feel about the roads being built?
How many people died building the railroad?
That guy who has to light the fuse though. Scary job
Do you think New York would have grown so much without the canal?
Honestly no because the canal was the reason many thing were able to be shipped to other parts of the country and especially in NY
Can you imagine not having the interstate highway?
I thought they said 64 days, not 62 days?
This all just makes me wish that I could drive already :/
How do you think the invention of cars, especially during this age, changed the US?
I would imagine it would allow people to spread out farther across the country.
How did Route 66 affect America?
Without it, Lightning McQueen would still be a selfish person.
And he would have never met Mater.
Also, Mater wouldn't have been able to be a super spy.
Why is the bald eagle the National bird?
That's a good system
Sorry didn't mean for that to be a reply.
It was chosen for its majestic beauty, long life, nativity to american, and great strength
America not American

13 million houses. That would make me want to drink up and watch football, too @thatonedude
Would you have stayed in New York or moved to a suburban area with your children?
Probably a suburban area
Probably moved to a suburban area with my children since it's a better place to raise a family.
Imagine getting your hair stuck in those mechanized looms. Terrifying.
I would rather die.
You would have probably died, or gotten yourself scalped

If you had to choose one pair, which would it be?
Microwave and oven
Washer and dryer
Air conditioner and heater
Air conditioner and heater. I can live on poptarts and wash my clothes in the sink. LOL
Air Condition and Heater
Washer and Dryer. I like cleanliness... And washing the old fashioned way looks rough on my delicate hands.
Air conditioner and heater.
I'd pick Microwave and Oven because how else would I heat up my hot pockets?
I think hot pockets are disgusting so no thanks.
With the heater!
Air conditioner and heater

And so the space age has begun
"Ground Control to Major Tom"
RIP David Bowie, 2016
David Bowie got an owie because he didn't take his protein pills or put his helmet on.
I think it is insane that in 1903 the airplane was invented and then in 1969 we flew rockets into space. Seems like a huge advancement for 66 years.
